Got awful pain in upper abdomen after eating fatty foods. Doc thinks its gal bladder stones , has anybody had this one ?
Stop consuming fatty foods. Gallstones develop in many people without causing symptoms. The chance of symptoms or complications from gallstones is about 20%. Nearly all patients (99%) who have gallbladder surgery do not have their symptoms return.

Incontinence products in Scandinavia? Where can I find information about this?
I am looking for INCONTINENCE PRODUCTS (exp: Vaginal Cones, etc) in any of the Scandinavian countries.
(BeNeLux countries may work as well)
Please give me hints or any info where I can look for such items.
Many thanks
That sounds like the kind of thing you find in a pharmacy over in Europe. You just ask the pharmacist. They are very discreet.
my male flat mate continuously wets the bed, he doesnt think its a prob. is there anything for incontinence? dont think he would go to the docs or anything.
He probably does think it’s a problem – but doesn’t want to admit it. There are many reasons for incontinence and he really does need to get it investigated. Most reasons are relatively easy to fix, but he may have diabetes, which has deeper health implications. Why not pop along to your local doctor’s surgery & see if they have any leaflets on incontinence? You probably won’t even have to ask for them as many health information leaflets are on display in reception.
He’s lucky to have a friend who cares enough to help him tackle the issue.
im looking for a place on the internet where you can find free hypnosis to cause incontinence- please help!
You get 2 points for creativity. But sorry, you can’t find that anywhere, lol…
Even a professionally trained hypnotist would have a hard time talking somebody into that.
How can i treat my goldfish fast? He may have swim bladder infection. Is there a treatment?
He has a swim bladder problem and has a hard time staying at the bottom. All day he hangs out in the top corner floating and now is starting to turn on his side. One side of his belly got swollen today, which makes him unbalanced. He lives in a 10 gallon tank with filter. I feed him peas…and it’s not working as well. His color is also fading please help!
Anti-bacterial medication. You can use melafix but an actual medication is your best bet at this point since it it an internal bacterial infection. Swim bladder infections are usually caused by ramming or fighting, so try to watch for any bad behavior.
The product it to prevent stress incontinence in women, was clinically trialled and some of the women no longer need surgery, looking to get into Boots with it. Product is patent protected and I am now looking for hostesses to go out and sell the product either by house parties or get it into local chemists. Anyone interested only serious emails please. I will train you and hold a training session in either Swansea or Cardiff. You will be paid on a commission basis. I am still supplying the hospital with the product.
The IncoStress is CE marked and has gone throught all the correct actions for this to be a medical device.
If you have a company and would like to sell this please contact me.
This is the only device that stops incontinence and exercises the pelvic muscles, without the user having to do anything. PROVED TO WORK.
Good points RM. It can only be used on stress Incontinence (SUI) as it works by closing the urethra via the vagina, at the same time supporting it and replacing the bladder back to it normal anatomical position. This prevents leakage, at the same time the shape of it allows the muscles to gently exercise themselves. It is reusable and very easy to insert. It has been published already and was presented at the UGIA in athens 2006 by the hospital and Swansea University, dept of life science. Can’t be used if pregnant or if an IUD is in place. Happy to answer any questions, or you can go to the website (still not finished) www.incostress.com
I’m curious – what kind of device would women want to spend money on? Surely cones and FES or any kind of muscle stimulators would be covered by the NHS, and it’s obviously not biofeedback based if the woman has to do nothing.
Who would diagnose your customers – how would you know your product was being used by the correct target group. What if a woman had urge incontinence? Or just frequency with a fear of incontinence? Or a mix of stress/urge? Can they still use it?
Perhaps, if your product has been shown to have good effect and the trials were conducted in a correct manner, then the best thing to do would be to get your results written up and published, and start targeting gynaecologists to prescribe it?
Just a thought. Good luck.
Edit: hmm – very interesting! You’re talking about restoring the normal bladder neck closure mechanism by mechanically correcting a displacement, right? I’m thinking along the lines of a ring pessary or something along the lines of an Introl (by Uromed). Scroll throught the catalogues, compare your prices and target the companies that already supply them – there’s already a market there, it’s a matter of beating the competition.
I wish you the best of luck!
Seniors: How do you feel about the extreme availibility of information on t.v. commercials today?
You know, the ads for male enhancement, incontinence issues, colonoscopies, feminine hygeine products, birth control, erectile disfunction medications, intimate lubricants, etc. Are you glad that information is out there for those who need it or do you feel that some issues just ought to be discussed in private?
Well, let’s just say I blushed while reading your question!
Whats the best way to cover or eliminate the human urine smell due to incontinence issues.?
I have a relative living with incontinence from an accident and hates the smell of urine. Everythings washed daily in bleach/soap wash, but it’s not enough. Know any old home remedies ?
White vinegar is good at removing urine odors. One cup in the wash water will help remove odors. I have also used a product called ODO BAN that is good at removing odors from just about anything. I have put it into the rinse water of my washer and the clothing comes out smelling fresh and clean. It can also be sprayed onto things to help eliminate odors. I get mine at Sam’s Club, but I’m sure Wal-Mart has it also.
My 82 year old father recently had BCG treatment for bladder cancer. He is now experiencing trouble urinating
He feels like he has to go but can’t. He feels pressure and it occasionally burns when he tries to go. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.
CubFanJo,
Bacillus Calmette-Guerin (BCG), which is an inactivated form of the bacterium Mycobacterium tuberculosis, is given both intravesically mixed in a saline solution and instilled directly into the bladder via a catheter, as well as in the form of a percutaneous vaccine. Although it is not yet totally understood why BCG and other immunotherapies work against cancer, they are thought to elicit an immune response. Symptoms of bladder cancer can include – Blood in the urine – Frequent urination, or feeling the need to urinate without being able to do so – Pain during urination. There are many methods of dealing with this. The various treatments range from pain relief tablets to Lumbar sympathetic block. These matters are usually decided by the doctor and the patient together, and depending on the severity of the pain and difficulty in passing urine. It is an unfortunate fact that bladder cancer has a very high rate of recurrence. Even after superficial tumours are completely removed, there is a 75% chance that new tumours will develop in other areas of the bladder. Hence, patients need very frequent and thorough follow-up care.
Hope this helps

Need a product to deodorize and sanitize laundry due to urinary incontinence. Any suggestions?
My husband and I bought a house that had many pets in it with the prevous owner. This owner was sometimes too lazy to clean cages and let the pets out to go to the bathroom.
We had smells everywhere, the concrete floor especially, and couldn’t get rid of them. We talked to a home health care worker who told me they use a product called PUSH. We bought it at a party supply store but they sell it at janitorial stores. It is not dangerous, but must be used according to directions, or it will not work, because it is a living thing.
PUSH contains a bacteria that eats other bacteria. Bad bacterias are what cause the odor you are smelling. So, if you use it, it will eat the bacteria and the smell is gone. We put it in a spray bottle. You can spray it on the floor. You can use it in laundry too. Once the bacteria is gone, so is the smell.
Then you just clean up the PUSH bacteria.
The only thing is that you have to use the PUSH the way it is directed on the back of the bottle or it won’t work. Like, we had to put it on our floor, let it sit for 20 minutes and then dab it up with a sponge. You could see the stuff working and it bubbled up, etc. It killed the pet odor smell.
This worker said they used it on an old woman’s sheets and mattress who had bladder control issues and it actually turned black from eating all of the bacteria! But, she did say after they did it several times (The mattress was destroyed and had been urinated on for several months) the smell was completely dissipated.
