is BCG treatment better than chemo for bladder cancer?

and in which way also would a one off treatment be enough to kill all the germs

I just received my first BCG treatment for bladder cancer yesterday, which is supposed to last for 6 weeks. They gave me a schedule for my next 5 treatments, and I noticed that they skipped two weeks in the middle, then started them again. They mentioned that the doctor would be on vacation or something to that effect. I’m wondering just how important it is to receive these treatments each consecutive week, or is it that important? The nurse didn’t think it really mattered when I asked about this. Also, I’m wondering about having sex during this treatment period, whether we should abstain or not

Sorry about the crude nature of the heading question, but its the only way to grab your attention. I am looking for answers from people who know about medical products.

I have crohns disease and I have severe anxiety about going out due to ‘problems’, mainly accidents. Most of the time nothing happens but I have had a few bad experiences. I was hoping someone knew of an equivelent of a nappy for children for adults that I could use to boost my confidence when travelling etc. Most products in shops are only for urine incontinence which would be no good.

When we are away, we usually leave my dog outside. He has a 40 feet runner, and his collar which gives him an additional 10 feet. The beginning of the runner is in our garage. It is a clean garage (except for night time when cars are there… but he is inside) with a couch on a side (where he can rest during the day) and his water/food bowl. We do it this way so if it is too hot or too cold he can go back inside and hide.
He is 8yo, a retired hospital dog, and more than well trained. He was ALWAYS used to go out to the yard for pee or poo… But over the last 3 months he started doing it in the garage. It is a "pain" because it gets smell and we have to wash it and disinfect daily. He will never do it in the house though, so it is not incontinence. He will ask to go out when he is inside and needs to pee, etc.
Is there any product I can clean the garage with that will make him pee or poop outside, but will not be too bad that he will still look for rest in the garage if he needs too?

got a feeling he’s getting old and just thought it was easier to pee and poo in the garage. you’ve got to catch him doing it and then scold him a lot so that he will remember. I did that and he never peed or pood on the carpet again.

Early altering is one of the most horrific parts of of the current HSUS agenda sweeping America. Vets that do it should loose their license. It greatly increases the risk for any orthopedic issues. It raises the risk of heart disease, spay incontinence, bone cancer……. It is just a horrible, horrific form of animal abuse. Read the study that the person above this answer sited. THere are many research studies that advise against early altering. IT’s sad that the "no pet" peta agenda has dictated such poor veterinary practices. I have nothing against altering, but early altering is horrific.

Drink lots and lots of water so you’ll pee a lot and flush out the bacteria that’s causing your infection. Cranberry juice (the 100% juice one, not the one mixed with sugar) is also proven to be another alternative to curing UTI.

menstruating is a natural occurrence in the body that God has given you, why is it dirty? I don’t understand God making women menstruate then saying you’re dirty don’t pray to me, don’t make sacrifices for me…

bleeding does not break wudu in all the four schools. and even if you follow the fatwa that it does, if a person has a problem where his wudu breaks constantly he is regarded as a special case and he can make wudu and pray regardless of the problem breaking his wudu. this could be incontinence, constant bleeding etc. . this also applies to women btw who have such a problem. but menstruation is a different situation with a specific ruling applied to it.

during menst, woman goes through some psycological stress and dperession, and sometime she may feel like crying without any apparent reason. So, God made it easy for her. Still if a person wants to keep on doing argumant, had not God have excempted it, you still would have come up with the argument that why did not God excempted woman from fasting and prayer!
