You can try monitoring/limiting your fluid intake a couple of hours before you have treatment, and try going to the bathroom right before the treatment starts. You can also ask the acupuncturist to pull the needles a few minutes earlier.

Often times this post treatment urgency fades with time.

  2. I went for years to an acupuncture doctor and never once had bladder problems as a result of the treatments! However, Ed, we are all different so the next time you go, talk to the acupuncturist about this problem.
