Once the bacteria are there, they are there. Lots of UTI's clear on their own. However, cranberry juice IS a preventative measure. It makes the environment of the bladder more acidic, which inhibits bacterial growth. Try drinking a glass or two of cranberry juice daily and see if that helps.
