Check with a rehab center or other such facility in your area. You may have to go to an online provider to find reusable products. They tend to be quite expensive. Check here.

Hi
First of all let me start by saying i have no experience at all in filing taxes.
My sister is away and out of the country and also has little experience in this since she still goes to school.
A few months ago she started this business wherein she provides incontinence products to a number of nursing home/senior health care facilities. I occasionally drop a few of the orders and help her out as much as I can. She asked if I could help her out in finding out what forms to file. It’s the weekend now so government offices are probably closed. I will call 1st thing monday but just thought I would ask here 1st.
Here are the details: Small business, sole proprietor, if the state matters we’re in New Jersey. she buys the products at costco and has em delivered at the facilities. What forms do i file for state and federal? any more information needed please ask.
Thanks.

You know, if your school had taught CIVICS AND LIFE SKILLS, you could have done this yourself.
You need to learn how to do research.
Yahoo is not research.
When I get my period, I always have to get rid of my underwear since it stains. The pads aren’t long enough, but the thickness is fine. Would incontinence products be better?
I’ve occasionally tried that for similar problems – not during the day, but at night. An incontinence diaper works well for very heavy bleeding at night, but having to dispose of it when you wake up in the morning is gross. But pads are very good now, so it’s more a question of just getting the right type of pad.
Looking for the best Medicaid approved incontinence supplier. My son receives Medicaid paid youth diapers by his prescription. We recently moved and what I’m wondering is …Which supplier handles the best products as far as discreet, but absorbent products. I recently got a couple samples from Kendall, but they look rather bulky and well we’ll see if they’re absorbent
Any ideas or good review sites on these distributors?.
Allegro Medical is good.

She would be considered self employed and would attach schedule C to her 1040. This form requires that she report her income and expenses of operating the business. If she net more than $400 of net income she would have to attach schedule SE to her 1040 and pay self employment tax. She would also report this income to NJ.
The problem she has is probably with NJ. If she is selling a product then she should be registered with the NJ sales and use tax people. What she buys would be exempt from sales tax and what she sells could be subject to sales tax. If all she is running is a delivery service then it probably is not subject to sales tax, but in NJ who can be sure if there is anything they don’t tax.
She may also need to obtain a business license from the state or county or township she does business in. Most states have a business license requirement.
I think you need to contact a CPA in NJ who is familiar with what is required of a business operating in NJ. This stuff takes a lot of effort to track down and a CPA familiar with doing business in the state should be able to help with state requirements fairly efficiently.
I am caring for someone who is an older person, and as much care as I give, there is always a lingering odor of urine in the private area. This person is not in adult diapers, but has minor incontinence. I have tried using regular soap & also shampoo. Is there a product that is known for eliminating this problem?
Even when you’re an older person, I believe everyone wants that fresh feeling.
There are a couple of options that you have here. One, purchase personal wipes (cottonelle, scott are two brands that make decent wipes), this will keep their body smelling fresher while wiping away whatever residual urine remains. Two, use baby powder a few times a day, it will not only keep things fresh but it absorbs any moisture in the genital area. Three, if the patient is a female, you could have her use a personal body spray (bath and body works, etc). I hope you find something to help the situation. Take care.

Well i am going to have surgery and i would like to know if i can bring my own incontinence products. I mean i don’t picture the hospital having good quality disposables or do they. I wear abena abr x plus. Prove me wrong otherwise.
no, they won’t use them anyway..& you’ll probably just end up losing them;; if you are in the hospital, you MAY be inserted with a catheter depending on the surgery…so ya won’t need them;; you will also be somewhat bedridden, so what does it matter if they are the best or not…let them supply you..you have to pay for them anyway..& again, they won’t use your products from home..they will use the ones they order for you;; your incontinence problems will be the least of your concerns..as should be…
with a website address whcih took me to an incontinence products site – WHY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!????????
the question was totally irrelevant to incontinence
Impossible to say without knowing what you asked.
