Diaper fetish, is it a sin? If so, how do I cure it?
Hello, everybody. Name’s Dan, and I converted to Christianity less than a week ago. Problem is that I have a fetish for incontinence products, which I have had for literally years. I don’t want to fall short to the Lord (I just came to him, for goodness’ sake), all because I couldn’t control myself. (pun intended)
So my questions are:
-Is a diaper fetish sinful?
-If so, how can I cure it with the help of the Lord and Savior?
Thanks for listening.
More details: I was trained late, at age five I think. I was diagnosed with atypical autism. Can this be anything to do with the attachment?
I’ve had a passive obsession with incontinence products since about eight, which surfaced earlier last year.
To Debra and any others… I’m not joking around; I wouldn’t make stupid jokes about such a thing knowing that there is quite likely somebody else in the same situation that I’m in.
No, incontinence fetishes are not a sin. Your faith and relationship with christ as a christian is a personal thing. His guidance is there to help you lead a happy and healthy life and is there in order to bring you close to him, not make you feel guilty. If you find wearing nappies enjoyable and as long as it doesn’t hurt anyone around you – then enjoy friend.

if you’re hung up about sin then you’re not mature enough to engage in sexual behavior

I don’t see how liking diapers could be sinful.

I’ve heard of that. Isnt that where a grown man wheres diapers, perhaps sleeps in a giant crib, puts a pacifier in his mouth, talks like a baby, and has a woman change his diapers, maybe breast feeds him and treat him like a baby? Than of course have sex with him and play with his private parts? Yea I think that’s it. All I can say is if you have come to the Lord, you will be delivered of sin since you have repented and turned away from your old life. If not, than it was only a ritual (in words) and your heart still doesn’t belong to the Lord!

It’s really sad that yahoo answers has become a place for dumb kids to play little pranks and ask obvious, fake questions.
Go ahead, giggle like a little schoolgirl, you dork.

Wait a minute….you are OFF TRACK with this one….
Sins are breaking the 10 commandments.
There is no commandment "Thou Shalt NOt wear a diaper."
Wear your diaper in complete happiness, dear fellow.
Just do me a favor….don’t come anywhere near me. Thanks!

yeah, you sound unbalanced.
Saint Peter’s going to just pants you. Then he’ll pull the lever and you’ll wind up in purgatory, cleaning diapers till the cows come home.

As a Christian, I can say that the Bible does not explicitly say anything about fetishism. However, theologians agree that fetishism is a sin. Fetishism is basically an abnormal sexual action based on sexual arousals, or in Christian terms, lust. Lust itself is a sin, as is written in the Bible many times. In other words, fetishism is lust so fetishism is sin.
I personally don’t know if there is an effective cure. If you searched the internet, you’ll find a lot of so-called ‘cures’, which are always psychiatrist, medicine, etc. These may help, but I don’t believe in these cures as the final cure. Some even suggested to succumb to it because they say it is ‘normal’, DON’T believe them (it’s like saying succumb to stealing, drugs, murder, and other sins). So far, I have never found an article regarding the cure written by a Christian. The only cure I can suggest is to fight that temptation and resist it. You may ask help from pastors or family and church members, but it’s up to you yourself to fight it. I know it is hard to do.
