People are exploiting Yahoo!Answers trying to use it to advertise their products. Report them. It does no good to answer them (no human being on the other side – just some automated computer program "answering" as many questions as it can – they aren’t reading Yahoo!Answers). It does no good to give them a thumbs down (again, they don’t care). If everyone reports them as soon as possible, their account get suspended sooner, so they can do less damage.

Because some people set up accounts merely to spam and push products. When you see that just report the person so yahoo can find them and block the account.

They are spammers. Just click the "report abuse’" button. Yahoo will remove their account if they are reported enough.

Isnt it obvious? People are trying to advertise thier products. They dont care if it is relevant, they just want to put thier web address out there. Its like junk mail.

to gain points, advertise/solicit/spam etc. i just give them a thumbs down and then report them. if you check their answers you will probably find they answer most the same.

Some companies/ people want to advertise for free and seem to think that it’s a good way to advertise their product/ service, it is spam (similar to junk mail) and you should report the people that do it to you, if you ask a question you should not receive advertisements of a useless product/ service.
