Whats the best way to cover or eliminate the human urine smell due to incontinence issues.?
admin on September 24th, 2009
I have a relative living with incontinence from an accident and hates the smell of urine. Everythings washed daily in bleach/soap wash, but it’s not enough. Know any old home remedies ?
White vinegar is good at removing urine odors. One cup in the wash water will help remove odors. I have also used a product called ODO BAN that is good at removing odors from just about anything. I have put it into the rinse water of my washer and the clothing comes out smelling fresh and clean. It can also be sprayed onto things to help eliminate odors. I get mine at Sam’s Club, but I’m sure Wal-Mart has it also.

put baking soda in the laundry

Tea tree oil. My little brother is incontinent due to a disability and my mom puts a couple of drops of tea tree oil in the wash once the drum is full of water and it does the trick.
