I can understand women experiencing bladder problems if they have been through childbirth. But I have never had a baby, yet I have had bladder problems before, including a small bladder infection a few months ago. And during my life, I have known female friends who have not gone though childbirth, yet had bladder problems or slight incontinence problems at some point or other.

Their urethra is much shorter than men’s and if bacteria enters it finds its way quickly into the bladder. Women should also wash after sex in case bacteria has found its way there.

Dog with incontinence..?

admin on July 20th, 2011

I adopted a fifteen year old American Pit Bull Terrier about three weeks ago. She has Urinary Incontinence and Fecal Incontinence (I knew this when i adopted her – The shelter informed me of this and she was set to be euthanized that day but i took her in anyway). She is pretty healthy for her age other wise, so i would like her to live out the rest of her life in peace – She shouldn’t have to die because of her incontinence. I have wood and tile floors – So i am wondering if any one can recommend any products that disinfect/remove the odors from my floor when she has accidents? Any that you have had positive result with? Any other advice would be appreciated.

I have four other rescue American Pit Bull Terriers so i would like to keep my floors as clean as possible so they do not start going on the floors. (They are fully house broken)

Most people will probably tell you to go out and but some expensive cleaner…but I mix white vinegar with water at a 50/50 ratio. I will clean up the mess and use this to remove the odor. It works and is very inexpensive.

i have urinary incontinence (and am a spritely 26!) and am looking for a decent brief or product to wear while i play sports. i have a good routine when i’m not active (usually wear molicare adult diapers), but when working out, i’d like to wear something more discrete and easier to change in and out of, especially in the locker room.

i live in ny, ny if that makes a difference.

I’m 18 and i’m just incontinent at night but i would try some molicare pull up diapers or something. My 11 year old brother is fully incontinent and he wears normal diapers, he doesent seem to have a problem with changing and things like that. Feel free to message me if you want

I’m particularly concerned about the traumatic aspect of it all and whether or not routine anal sex causes fecal incontinence down the road.

After extensive research, I come to conclude that the only thing wrong with anal sex is not getting any. :P

i am wondering does any one know where to get cheap but good adult incontinence products for me and others that need help

Hello,
I can help. My recommendation is to check out www.totalhomecaresupplies.com for a couple reasons. 1) You can shop at your convenience and in the comfort of your home and 2) products are shipped to your door in a discreet, plain box with free shipping.

TotalHomeCareSupplies has been good to my family with absorbent products at very affordable prices. They sell by the case to save you more money than you’d spend at the local drug store buying in small retail packages. (not to mention worrying about running out of them)

Hope this helps. Take care.

at night i get up like even up to 10 times to urinate, seen urologist alot, their treatments arent working, had several UTI’s, took antibiotics, antibiotics not working, symptoms never went away, took ditropan and it does not stop the frequent urination. i keep peeing nonstop and it never feels like i’m done. what problem is this? am i right that this is overactive bladder? no pain or blood. Do u know anyone who suffers overactive bladder and goes as much as me? do u know any strong medications that is effective in stopping the frequent urination? the doctors dont seem to care and their treatments arent working at all.

What may be the cause of your overactive bladder…

* Magnesium deficiency can cause any part of the body to cramp or spasm, including the bladder – 500mg of magnesium citrate or glycinate daily

*Vitamin B12 deficiency (essential for nerve function) – sublingual 1000mcg daily

* Bladder infection

* Undiagnosed food sensitivities – gluten (wheat), dairy, yeast, eggs, corn, soy, and nuts

* Aspartame and foods preservatives/additives

* Hidden yeast infections can also irritable the bladder

It depends if it is invasive or not.
Usually it is not and is treated with TURBT and often with 6 seeks of BCG.
The persons age has nothing to do with it.

Bladder cancer treatment?

admin on May 9th, 2011

i dont no much about bladder cancer or the treatments.. but i no some1 who is getting the treatment.. (i dnt wanna ask) but when they do the treatment.. do they cut u open or…look into yr bladder thru yr privates with a lil tube thing and scrap it off (i heard ppl do that but is that all or cuttin?) and do they have to wear this bag thing after (some1 told me they did? like.. some kinda i think pee bag?) sorry if i sound so dumb but im curious…

Rarely do people have their bladders removed as most bladder cancers are found at an early stage and are treated with TURBT which is and endoscopic surgery to remove the tumors off the bladder, usually followed by 6 weeks of BCG in the office and a follow up cysto in about 3 months. There can be some variation, but with no information this all I can tell you and is the most common scenario.

I answered this awhile ago:
