Teen incontinence help please!?
I have a problem, I’m a 16 year old male, and for no reason what so ever, I’ve been randomly wetting my pants. It’s been happening pretty frequently for the past 2 weeks. I’ve been hiding it from my mom and dad, but I don’t know how much longer I can hide it. I homeschool, so I don’t have to worry about all the school crap as much. What do I do? Is there some way I can fix it or something? I really want to go back outside without worrying about this stuff, please hurry.
P.S. I hate doctors, so is there a way I can like fix it without doctor?
You need to tell your mum and dad. Sudden incontinence needs to be checked out. It can the result of an infection, problem with the sphincter that keeps the bladder closed. an impingement of the nerve that sends the message to your brain, that you need to go and other things. It needs to be sorted out a s a p. Its probably not serious, but if it is, then hoping it will go away by itself isn’t going to help.

What do you think of this? (for people who care about animal rights)?

This girl said her mom is making her get her cat put down just because he’s incontinent. She said that the vet told her he’s "very healthy for his age." Does this make you mad that people will have a pet killed just because its become an inconvenience? I mean, they make incontinence products for pets – just because it would take a little extra work and the mom doesn’t want her precious furniture ruined. If grandma or grandpa was wetting themselves would she have them put down too? This really disgusts me – a pet is a commitment just like a kid, whether it gets sick or has problems or not.
I know it’s not really about food&drink but I know there are people who post in this section who would have an opinion about it (hence I put that in parentheses).
I would have to disagree with the answerer above me. This is the perfect place to such a question. Being a vegan is more than a diet.
Sadly, my mother would do the same thing. She’s been getting crueler in her old age. Just the other week she was telling me that she found a pregnant rat in her house and went out to buy mouse traps. I was mortified. I suggested one that would at least not kill the rat but for some reason she had it out for the rat because "this is her home."
And I guess it’s the same mentality. "This is MY home and if anything messes it up, it will pay." It’s really very greedy. It’s sad as well, the cat has been in their family for 16 years then suddenly has a problem and they don’t want to deal with him anymore. Then they look for an easy way out. It’s really barbaric. If I were a vet I would refuse to put the cat down because he’s an "inconvenience."
I would tell her that she has taken up a responsibility. The cat was there by her demand and now that he’s in need of help, you have to live up to that responsibility.
This is really sad.
EDIT: Hmm, Shell, funny thing is- is that I never called my mom bitter. She is, however, looking for an easy way out that that happens to be cruel.
Why she has them is beside the point. The point is what she’s doing about it.
why don’t pharmacies sell good incontinence products?
Well i am suffering from urinary incontinence and wondered why doesn’t cvs, wal greens sell good incontinence products? I always wondered that. Its always depends or there store brand. I personally like abena x plus. Why can’t they sell that?
It all comes down to the almighty dollar and what sells at that store.Perhaps if you approach management and ask for a trial period of a particular product they might just order it.Stores generally have contracts with particular suppliers and order in bulk.It all comes down to what sells besides if the product only lasts so long, makes the customer come back and buy more…profit margin is all it comes down to.So good luck
Dog Bladder Stones Treatment, Help!?
My Sheltie was taken to the vet today after urinating several times on our belongings and bedding. I did witness blood in her urine and took her ASAP this morning.
Indeed, she has 3 to four bladder stones and a urinary infection. She was given an antibiotic to clear up the infection and "Hill’s PRESCRIPTION DIET s/d" to be eaten everyday for 2 to 5 months in hope of dissolving the stones.
The other option was surgery-$1,500. She’s 3 years old and the vet explained that this food can cause the stones to disolve to nothing or even be urinated out when small enough.
Has anyone had experience treating dog bladder stones or with this food? Any other suggestions?
Thanks so much!
Hill’s diets are good ones. They are unfortunately expensive. Often the diets for stones work in two ways-1) they change the pH of the urine depending on the stone type. This will help prevent stones (and I guess dissolve them too) in that some stones form at certain pHs. And 2) they often contain large amounts of salt which makes the dog drink more, making them urinate more. Urinating more often prevents urine from sitting around in the bladder letting the minerals that make up stones settle out.
Antibiotics are often called for because bladder stones predispose to infections and often it goes the other way around too.
Surgery often seems drastic and expensive. The price seems reasonable to me if it includes after care and medication for pain. Keeping your pet on a diet to prevent stones may be needed afterwards as well.
You should also keep in mind that the diet may be a lifelong thing though I think I would be willing to try it before surgery and use surgery as a second option. Esp. since your vet seems to think that the diet changes will work.
Good luck!
Scenting or a urinary tract infection?
I have an 8 month old puppy.
I noticed on her evening walk today that after she urinated properly, whilst we were walking along she would stop every so often and squat as if going to the toilet again but only tiny drops were showing on the pavement.
I’ve never heard of a bitch that scents just like an un-castrated male would, but it seems a bit like she is scenting or she has a UTI.
Although saying that, I don’t know if the symptoms of a dogs UTI are the same as a human one, I know that when I have a UTI, I sometimes feel like I haven’t completely emptied my bladder even though I have.
She is spayed, she’s been spayed for 2 months and I’ve only just noticed it so I don’t think that it’s the incontinence that can sometimes be a side effect of being spayed (although I realise it could be).
Has anyone else been through this with their dog?
(I will book an appointment for her at the vets if I need to, I just want some opinions)
Some female dogs mark for scent (mine has the route worked out exactly where it needs to be done) but what you’re describing sounds like a UTI or maybe some kind of submissive urination. Was the little puppy sending you Calming Signals at the time: eg. licking her lips, turning her head from you?
Anyway, get the vet to check for UTI you don’t wnat their kidneys to get compromised.
Diaper fetish, is it a sin? If so, how do I cure it?
Hello, everybody. Name’s Dan, and I converted to Christianity less than a week ago. Problem is that I have a fetish for incontinence products, which I have had for literally years. I don’t want to fall short to the Lord (I just came to him, for goodness’ sake), all because I couldn’t control myself. (pun intended)
So my questions are:
-Is a diaper fetish sinful?
-If so, how can I cure it with the help of the Lord and Savior?
Thanks for listening.
More details: I was trained late, at age five I think. I was diagnosed with atypical autism. Can this be anything to do with the attachment?
I’ve had a passive obsession with incontinence products since about eight, which surfaced earlier last year.
To Debra and any others… I’m not joking around; I wouldn’t make stupid jokes about such a thing knowing that there is quite likely somebody else in the same situation that I’m in.
No, incontinence fetishes are not a sin. Your faith and relationship with christ as a christian is a personal thing. His guidance is there to help you lead a happy and healthy life and is there in order to bring you close to him, not make you feel guilty. If you find wearing nappies enjoyable and as long as it doesn’t hurt anyone around you – then enjoy friend.
Tell me the simple treatment for removing gal-bladder stone?
Eg: keyhole surgery
get an anesthetic for it, and then let it pass.. it’ll feel a lil weird but atleast it won’t hurt like a bitch
What is the best reusable incontinence underwear product?

I have incontinence and am interested in trying the penis clamps. Does anyone have any experience with them?
I have/had prostate cancer and had a radical prostatectomy. I now have incontinence and am looking for something better then diapers. I see a system that allows urine to be ported to a storage bag and penis clamps. Any suggestions?
Sorry you got such lame responses. I can’t offer you information, but I do want to tell you to hang in there.
Try a medical forum, where ppl might be a bit more grown up.
